Drying
Drying Operation consist of the removal of standing water and water vapor left over in the pipeline Dew Point measurements are used to determine the level of moisture left in the pipeline. The dew point is defined as the temperature at which water vapor begins to condense out of its gaseous form at atmospheric pressure. Trans-Asia Pipeline is able to design and implement the best possible drying program/schedule that confirms exactly to client/contractor specifications.
A drying plan developed by Trans-Asia Pipeline investigates the clients system to determine the length of the sections to be dried together with pipeline condition (Rehabilitation, conversion new construction pipeline coatings etc) This information forms the basis of
compressor and desiccant dryer capacity calculations to ensure an optimum drying cycle within the stipulated time frame.
Trans-Asia Pipeline maintains extensive inventory of Pigs Pig launchers and receivers, coolers, desiccant dryers that allow us to mobilize, clean and dry a pipeline at the least possible notice.
